Jon Stewart Hosting WWE SummerSlam

The comedy veteran (and WWE fan) kicks off his retirement.

Jon Stewart finally stepped down as host of the Daily Show after 16 years in the anchor's chair—but that doesn't mean the veteran satirist is taking retirement easy.

Nope: Stewart is set to host WWE SummerSlam on Sunday, where he'll (probably) talk smack, crack jokes, and—maybe, just guessing here—get a little sweat on one of his suits.

Broadcast live from the sold-out Barclays Center in Brooklyn, SummerSlam features a titanic clash between superstars Undertaker and Brock Lesnar in a highly-anticipated rematch of their historic WrestleMania 30 bout, when Lesnar snapped Undertaker’s unbeaten streak. SummerSlam extended to a four-hour broadcast plus a one-hour pre-show, beginning at 6 p.m. ET.

But take note: It's broadcast live on the WWE Network, so make sure you get that channel before the bodies hit the canvas.

A longtime WWE fan, Stewart has famously stoked a grudge against WWE Heavyweight Champion Seth "Mr. Money" Rollins. When Stewart taunted Rollins in an online video, Rollins gave the comedian a taste of his own satire in March by hosting a "Daily Show" segment of his own in the ring. But then Stewart stormed the set and put Rollins in his place.

"You're gonna come into my ring and make a fool out of me?" Rollins spat at the comedian.

"How could I make a fool out of a guy who looks like a SWAT team stripper with Lady Gaga's hair?" Stewart fired back.

The grudge finally got ugly that night—but will Rollins finally extract revenge? Tune in Sunday at 6 p.m. to find out.
