Go out with a bang. The last workout in Men's Health Cardio Week combines 8 exercises into one monster calorie-burning circuit that you can do anywhere.
You'll perform the following movements in a row: jumping jack, mountain climber, skater hop, donkey kick, skier swing, breakdancer, sprinter step, and slam. Do each exercise for 20 seconds, and then rest 10 seconds before moving on to the next move. After you finish all 8 exercises, rest 1 minute. That's 1 round. Do 4 total for a 20-minute workout.
"Most cardio workouts are very lower-body dominant. But in this routine, you'll alternate between lower and upper-body movements to decrease fatigue and keep the overall training intensity high," says MH Fitness Director BJ Gaddour, creator of Bodyweight Cardio Burners, an equipment-free DVD program that includes 20-minute fat-torching routines just like this one. "Not only does this provide a total-body workout, but your heart rate and calorie burn will be higher over the course of the training session."
Watch the video above to see Gaddour perform the exercises. And check out the other workouts from Cardio Week in case you missed them.
